I make it a point to not ask for money or subscribers on Youtube. But I do view Youtube as a ministry to encourage fellow believers. 

Here are some facts about my Youtube videos:

• Some videos are planned well in advance, and some are spontaneously created by randomly selecting a hymn from hymnbook.

• Each video takes anywhere from 4 - 8 hours to make, spread out over a period of several nights. Larger videos with 8 or more parts can take 24-60 hours to make.  My largest project took over 6 weeks.

• Almost all of my videos are arranged, recorded, edited, and filmed after my entire family goes to bed, from 10 PM till 2 AM. 

• Making Youtube videos is on top of my regular full time job, church responsibilities, and my IT business. 

• I do not make Youtube videos for the money. Full disclosure: I do make some ad revenue every month from Youtube; about enough to fill my van's gas tank a few times or paying for a portion of my electric bill. If it were for the money, it would not be worth the time, effort, or exhaustion. 

• I do not intend for Youtube to become a career; I want to work to provide for my family. However, money earned from Youtube or your donation does help to pay some bills, and I'm grateful for that. 

• We do have a mortgage and debt. We are licensed foster parents and recently adopted two children from foster care. While their needs are taken care of, we continue to invest in them through extra curriculum programs, theater, classes, sports, tutoring, private lessons and more.
